Leaving Marrakech in the morning, the journey begins by crossing the fertile Haouz plain before the road starts climbing gently into the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. Within just an hour, the bustling medina of Marrakech gives way to the cool breezes and greenery of the Ourika Valley, one of the most accessible yet enchanting valleys of the Atlas.

The drive follows the course of the Ourika River, flanked by terraced gardens, orchards of cherry and walnut trees, and clusters of Amazigh villages built from earth and stone, blending harmoniously with the red hillsides. The journey continues with a scenic drive back to Marrakech.
